I think the wiki might be a better way to organize development work than a mailing list. The biggest need I see at the moment is simply to be able to track who is working on a piece of code so two people don't do the cleanup on the same code. A set of pages w/ a list of all the files in SU, one per variant (CWP, SLT & Potash) would do this nicely. That way if someone decides to work on a file, they can inform others by simply editing the appropriate wiki page and tagging the file w/ a signature.
